Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Minutes from the June 2026 meeting were agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matters Arising: Cllr Brenda Aylott asked about the pockets of land that have been submitted for<\/p>\n\n\n\n
methodology to ERYC, this does not mean that the land will gain permission for building development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a consultation process, more information can be found on the ERYC website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ward Councillors Report: ERYC are in recess at the moment, everything is on hold, but there is a massive<\/p>\n\n\n\n
workload of surveys that have to be completed within a certain time frame. Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police Report: No one present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The same ongoing problems with E-bikes, Anti- social behaviour, Drugs and items being stolen from parked<\/p>\n\n\n\n
cars are reported on the Police Forum, nothing specific to Bewholme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Planning: nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parish Website: Nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Playing Field: The 2 Leylandi trees have been taken down, hedge cutting will take place in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Telephone Box Maintenance:The painting of the Telephone Box needs completing, the Defibrillator signs to<\/p>\n\n\n\n
replace the old signs are \u00a380.00 plus VAT, this was agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was agreed that a window cleaner is needed to keep the Telephone Box looking pristine, Cllr Graham<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Staples to ask for a quotation. The question was asked about Defibrillator checks, this has been carried out by<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ell Elliott in the past, Cllr Graham Staples to enquire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Highways: Cllr Mike butler reported a deep gully at the side of the carriageway, outside of Four Winds<\/p>\n\n\n\n
bungalow on Catfoss Road. Both sides of the road from North End Farm to Low Bonwick have been filled<\/p>\n\n\n\n
with road planings, this is very dangerous to cyclists, it needs properly tarmacking, JF to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finance: The balance of money from the old account has still not been transferred. JF to contact the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ombudsman to report the issues. Payment of \u00a329.50 for Plants and Compost was agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neighbourhood Watch: Nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Correspondence: Funding available again for Speed Awareness Signs. Ward Cllr Barbara Jefferson will<\/p>\n\n\n\n
assist with attaining permission for erecting the signs. JF to copy Barbara in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A letter from Carole Johnson requesting information about Village Shows was discussed, JF to circulate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any Other Business: Jim Froud asked if the December meeting could be brought forward to the 1st of<\/p>\n\n\n\n
December 2026, this was agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parishioners Questions: The water leaks on Water Lane is ongoing, misleading communication with the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
residents of the Lane has been holding things up. It was reported that this is a Yorkshire Water issue, and a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
full new water main down the Lane is needed, for a permanent fix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
