A lengthy discussion took place, but with no Police present at the meeting, a clear path was hard to determine. bewholme have similar problems with heavy wagons using narrow lanes through the village.
Apparently representatives from the Police and known sites that these wagons are accessing, were supposed to be at the Bewholme Parish Council meeting, but failed to attend.
Police Report: No one present. Dan Goodman gave his apologies.
The email from Leo Hammond Assistant Police Commissioner was read to the meeting.
The speeding in Bewholme and surrounding lanes is big problem that is getting worse, it was thought that they use of ANPR cameras may be a solution to help with the problem. The cost for a single Parish is quite high, so it was agreed to invite Atwick, Skipsea, Seaton Parish Councils and Leo Hammond to the next Parish Council meeting on the 14th October 2025
Ward Cllr John Whittle urged everyone to work together.

Correspondence: The Dogger Bank summer newsletter was available for Councillors and has been
forwarded. Cllr Graham Staples went to the last meeting, there is a fund of £1.5 million to be spent on local
projects, no one seems to know where the money is coming from.
There seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding the installation of Battery Storage stations near to
Beverley and surrounding villages. It appears that each company wants their own Battery Storage, and will
not share. There is to be another meeting later in the year, in Beverley.
The other correspondence from Leo Hammond, and Dan Goodman had already been covered .
Any Other Business: Cllr Brenda Aylott has secured a grant of £1,350.00 for the painting of the Telephone
Box, this is from the Gas Site Community Funding. Brenda has obtained quotes for the work to be done,
although the person involved has said that it can’t be started for another 12 months.
Brenda has acquired the primer and paint for the Telephone Box from HMG Paint in Manchester free of
charge.
It was thought that the Telephone Box needs cleaning ASAP, as it looks awful, Cllr Ed Neilson to enquire
about a steam cleaner.
