ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
ATWICK ROAD, BEWHOLME (part of)

Notice is hereby given that The East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Atwick Road, Bewholme (starting in front of Model Farm, Atwick Road for approximately 100 yards) commencing Monday 26th March 2018 to allow new water connection works to take place.

The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 5 days.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Seaton Road, Bewholme Lane, (A1035) Seaton Road – Bewholme, Westgate – Hornsea, (B1242 ) Market Place, Mill Lane, Atwick Road – Hornsea, Hornsea Road, Bewholme Road – Atwick and return.

The road will be closed to all traffic but is planned to be reinstated on the same day of the works.
