Declaration of Interest: None.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Minutes from the December 2025 meeting were agreed.

Matters Arising: Cllr Mike Butler reported that the finger post at Front Row has not been done.

Ward Councillors Report: Ward Cllr John Whittle commented about the section 114 that has been served On some county councils in England, and the catastrophic effect it has on amenities and services.

There are new proposals that have come from Government that ERYC has to adhere to, this will mean a reduction in the monies coming into the council

ERYC are working hard to find ways of cutting the budget to balance the books, this will be done by

transformation and rationalisation.

ERYC has a good financial team who are all working incredibly hard to find solutions, there are going to be cuts to some services

Since devolution the Mayor will bring in extra monies for the area, especially for things like education and transport, but these things take time, and it is a slow process.

Police Report: Nothing.

ANPR Cameras:Jim Froud passed to the Councillors the information regarding siting and funding of ANPR and speed indication devices.

Hornsea Town Council have hired in temporary SIDs for a limited period of time from ERYC. They are looking at funding 2 SIDs Cameras through the Police and Crime Commissioners website.

The Hornsea Town Council Clerk suggested that we get in touch with Dave Pullinger at ERYC, who

hopefully can help get the process started.

After intense discussion it was decided to seek advice about the siting of a speeding device on Catfoss Road from ERYC as a lamp post is not available in that location.

Planning: Nothing.

Parish Website: Nothing.

Playing Field: Nothing.

Highways: The new 30mph sign has gone up on Catfoss Road.

Bewholme to Atwick Road is in a terrible state, ERYC to be contacted.

Banking: Lloyds Bank nothing has been heard, Jim Froud to enquire what is happening.

Telephone Box: Cllr Phil Elliott reported that his Painter has looked at the Telephone Box and will take on the task in better weather.

Finance: The following invoices were agreed, Grass Cutting £1,846.12, Postage £8.70.

Neighbourhood Watch: Nothing.

Correspondence: Letter from Mark Edwards Eastriding Stages Rally 2026 was read out, an information

meeting is to be held on Friday 13th February at 16.30 hours. The email to be forwarded to Councillors.

Any Other Business: Salt bins need filling, this has been reported but not carried out.

Parishioners Questions: No one present.

Date of next meeting: Tuesday the 14th April 2026.
