Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Minutes from the April 2026 meeting were agreed.
Matters Arising: None.
Ward Councillors Report: No one present.
Police Report: No one present.
Reports of youths causing major problems riding E-bikes and Scooters in and around Hornsea, some of the
bikes have been confiscated by the Police.
Reports of equipment and Quad Bikes being stolen in rural areas was reported, it is thought that children are
being used to report property and belongings to elders, that steal the items at a later time.
People are urged to call 101 and report any suspicious activity.
Police officer Adrian Clarke was present at the recent Dog Show in the village, the Traffic Wardens have been
asked to target bad parking in the Villages.

Playing Field: The Dog Show was a great success, raising £1216.10, there was some very hard work by all
involved.
The tree pruning and the felling of 2 leylandi trees will go ahead soon, the tree officer has been to inspect
following the application that was submitted.
The container is in place, and cladding completed, just the roof to go on thought to be between 2-2 feet high.
The cladding is brown in colour, and with the addition of plants, can hardly be seen.
Highways: Long Lane from Catfoss to Warley Cross is in an appalling state of repair, a very large pothole
has appeared where the wagons have been turning in to the Chicken Sheds, JF to report.
Finance: Banking has been sorted, the new account is up and running. Payment Cllr Mike Butler, materials
for repairing the Notice Board £50.00 this was agreed.
Neighbourhood Watch: Nothing.
Correspondence: Funding available again for Speed Awareness Cameras. Traffic Control at ERYC say that
they are too busy to come out and offer advice on position and attaining permission to erect the signs. The
application for funding cannot go in without the relevant permission.
Cllr Mike Butler wondered if the Ward Councillors could help.
Any Other Business: Two fields next to Bewholme Village have been listed, Land Submission 458, change
of use. Jim Froud to look into this.
Parishioners Questions: Another water leak on Water Lane, Morrisons have filled the hole with the water
still leaking, it needs a new main pipe. A complaint has been raised by the residents.
A leaflet about the Coastal Housing Survey was passed to the Chairman, it doesn’t include Bewholme Parish,
but does list all of the Parish’s involved, the survey is now live.
